C-36 Additive Change Order #2 for Orange Park Elementary School Panelboard Replacement

Issue/Rationale

Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board.  The additive changes are for conduit, wiring and junction boxes for 1-120 volt, 20 amp dedicated circuit with receptacle to service new washer and 1-208 volt, single phase, 30 amp, dedicated circuit with receptacle to service new dryer.  Provide and install all necessary materials to replace existing feeder for panel 4PPA, raise existing point of attachment to meet new JEA specifications, and replace existing meter and associated metering equipment.  Provide labor and materials to provide temporary power to panel LA used to service the data rack ITR AC and FACP.



Recommended Action

Approve the change order.



Financial Impact

If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $5,640.24.  The Substantial Completion date is July 25, 2013 and Final Completion August 9, 2013.  Architect fees will increase by $336.25 as a result of this Change Order.
