Under Florida law the Board shall, each year, adopt a capital outlay budget for the ensuing year in order that the capital outlay needs of the Board for the entire year may be well understood by the public.  The capital outlay budget shall be part of the annual budget and shall become the first year of the Educational Facilities Plan.

a)         General Capital Outlay:  $65,603,002.00 of 2008-09 project initiatives with a $500,000.00 contingency and a $5,403,988.59 planned roll forward to 2009-10.

b)         Special Maintenance Capital Outlay:  $4,659,487.48 of 2008-09 project initiatives.

c)         Safety-To-Life Capital Outlay:  $193,380.00 of 2008-09 project initiatives.

d)         Technology Capital Outlay:  $2,965,579.00 of 2008-09 project initiatives.
