C-7 Revisions to Clay County Teacher Induction Program/Alternative Certification Program
Issue/Rationale
The Clay County Teacher Induction and Alternative Certification Programs must be revised to comply with recent legislative changes and changes in required educator competencies/practice. The Florida Legislature approved legislation impacting our district's professional education competence program (the Clay County Teacher Induction Program and Alternative Certification Program). Our previous board-approved plan is now outdated and required revision.
Recommended Action
Approve the revisions as requested.
Financial Impact
There is no significant increase in financial impact to the district.
