June 18, 2009 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #53 Item Title C-53 Construction Contract Award to Install a Lightning Protection System at Ridgeview High School Issue/Rationale Bid opening was held May 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.  The project had two (2) bidders and was advertised two (2) times. Recommended Action Award the contract to the low bidder meeting specifications, T&M Electric, Inc. for a base bid of $149,740.00. Financial Impact This project was approved in 2007/08 but due to lack of funding in fiscal year 2007/08, this project was shelved until funds became available.  Funding will now come from the 2008/09 Capital Projects Plan Section III.
