The Transportation Department is requesting approval to lease GPS-enabled Payroll and Fleet Management Software services from Synovia Solutions LLC (Synovia) for 240 school buses. This proposal does not require a payment during the 2015/2016 school year and will reduce 2015/2016 transportation operating expenditures and fuel consumption immediately upon implementation.  District departments have the option lease additional GPS units for district owned “White Fleet” vehicles at the unit prices contained in the RFP.    

Approve piggybacking off of St. Lucie’s RFP #15-08 for a 60 month lease agreement for 240 school buses, with the option for district departments to also lease additional GPS units for district-owned “White Fleet” vehicles at the unit prices contained in the RFP. Authorize the Director of Purchasing to sign final lease agreement contract and amendments once the terms and conditions have been completed and approved by Synovia and our School Board Attorney.
