C-68 Appraisal, Survey, Environmental Study and Quit Claim Deed for Donation of 30 acres adjacent to Elementary School Y
Issue/Rationale
This property is adjacent to Elementary School Y. The Developer would like to donate this parcel to the School Board. The Appraisal, Survey and Environmental Study are required per Florida Statute 1013.14 and State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF). Until negotiations are complete, the information concerning the appraisals, option contracts and negotiations with the owner are exempt from the provisions of Florida Statute 119.07(1) Inspection, Examination and Duplication of Public Records per Florida Statute 1013.14.
Recommended Action
Accept the appraisal, survey, environmental study and approve and execute the Quit Claim Deed.
Financial Impact
Estimated cost for the appraisal is $3,500.00 and for the environmental $2,000.00. The survey was provided by the Developer.
