School Board Policy and Florida Statutes require drug tests for certain employees and job candidates.  Facilities used in administering drug testing of employees and the fees charged for those services must be approved by the School Board.  The request to submit a quote to conduct district drug/alcohol screens was sent to the local facility used by First Lab, Inc., the state authorized agency to serve as collection sites for these services.  The charges shown on the attachment are from the state bid with First Lab, Inc.   They are considered reasonable and are recommended for approval.
