June 21, 2007 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #20 Item Title C-18 Memorandum of Understanding between the School Board of Clay County and Northeast Florida Community Hospice Issue/Rationale Quite often students experience personal tragedies that require grief counseling beyond the scope of a school counselor or teacher and the effects of grief can impact the student's academic success.  This Memorandum of Understanding is a partnership between the two agencies who will collaboratively provide grief counseling in the school setting when requested, as well as educatioin to school staff on grief related topics, when requested. Recommended Action Approve the Memorandum of Understanding between the School Board of Clay County and Northeast Florida Community Hospice as submitted.
