C-36 Memorandum of Understanding between the School District of Clay County and Episcopal Children's Services/HEADSTART 2007-2008.
Issue/Rationale
Establish working procedures between School District of Clay County and Episcopal Children's Services/HEADSTART to serve eligible preschool children under federal and state laws. Plans are being developed to provide consultation services to HEADSTART for student with disabilities.
Services are required under federal and state laws.
Recommended Action
The Superintendent recommends approval.
Financial Impact
The contract provides that the district will earn FTE for the services provided and that HEADSTART will provide round-trip transportation. Consequently, most increases in services for these students will be covered by FTE.
