C-30 Contract between the School Board of Clay County and Melissa Whitaker, Student Services Aide with Project R.E.A.C.H. pending approval of the Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program Grant
Issue/Rationale
The SBCC has been the recipient of the Title X Education for Homeless Children & Youth Programs Grant since 2002-2003. This grand funded Student Services Aide relieves the two certified social workers from district-wide clerical duties and will serve as a contact to schools on data collection of homeless children.
Recommended Action
Approve the Contract between the School Board of Clay County and Melissa Whitaker, Student Services Aide with Project R.E.A.C.H. pending approval of the Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program Grant as submitted.
Financial Impact
$26,000.00 to be paid out of Title I funds.
