June 26, 2007 Insurance Workshop and Special Meeting - 2 pm Agenda Item #8 Item Title Approve Change Order #1 to Duct Board Replacement B-3 at Clay High School Issue/Rationale Changes Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, which may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Once a Change Order is initiated, review/evaluation is undertaken to determine the merit and/or requirements of the Change Order.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board.  Change Orders affect the scope of the project and are required to be School Board approved by State Requirements for Educational Facilities and Florida Statutes.
