a.   Cost Per Print for Laser Printers #08-SCH-81 - Bid established to provide School Board with a District Wide, full coverage, laser printer program agreement utilizing a District-Wide cost-per-print-program for the period of March 16, 2007 - March 20, 2008.

b.   Paint Bid #08-MA-285 - Bid was established to provide paint county wide as needed for the period of March 16 , 2007 - March 20, 2008.

c.   Paint Labor #08-MA-287 - Bid was established to provide Paint Labor county wide for the period of March 16, 2007 - March 20, 2008.

Chapter 6A-1, State Board Rules, requires that except as authorized by law or rule, bids shall be requested from three or more sources when purchases will exceed the bid amount set by the DOE and the School Board.  6A-1 also requires that the School Board accept the lowest and best bid but is given the authority to reject all bids.

a.   Cost Per Print for Laser Printers #08-SCH-81 - award to Sun Print Management, the lowest, most qualified responsive bidder meeting specifications.  Bid is for one (1) year with mutual option to renew with no changes.  Bid is based on cost per print.  All toner and maintenance are included in cost.  There were 14 bids solicited and 4 responsive bids received.  Bid awarded based on Part1/Price Per Copy.  The bidders and prices were as follows:  Sun Print - .01; Copyfax - .039; Docuteam - .0086; Lanier Worldwide - .01655/.01804.

b.   Paint Bid #08-MA-285  -  award to ICI Dulux, low bidder meeting specifications.  Fifteen (15) bids were solicited and four (4) bids were received.  The vendors bidding are as follows with their total contract price:   ICI Dulux $37,106.00; Color Wheel Painting $41,276.50; Paint Craft Stores $44,497.50; and Sherwin Williams/Orange Park $48,206.00.

c.   Paint Labor #08-MA-287  - award to Mister Paint & Rental, the lowest, most qualified bidder meeting specifications.  Received pricing on painting relocatables per their dimensions (Part One); also received an hourly rate for all other painting projects (Part Two).  Award is based on cost to paint 24'x32' and 24'x34' wooden relocatables, however all pricing was reviewed.  There were 7 bids solicited, only 2 received as follows:  Mister Paint & Rental:  Part One/Average 1&2 $970.00, Part Two/Painter Hr. $18.00; NE Fla Painting: Part One/Average 1&2 $1,782.00, Part Two/Painter Hr. $25.00.  

a.   Cost Per Print for Laser Printers #08-SCH-81  -  No direct affect on budget since cost of maintenance and toner will offset cost of purchasing printers.

b.   Paint Bid #08-MA-285 :  $37,106.00

c.   Paint Labor #08-MA-287:  Part One/Average 1&2 : $970.00
