Request approval to contract for off-duty sheriff’s for security services.

In order to secure off-duty deputy sheriffs it is requested the School Board approve the attached contract with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

It is the intent of the School Board to secure off-duty sheriffs for activities for any function that is not part of the normal school day.

Approve contract to implement an Agreement between the Clay County School Board and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office as submitted.

Financial impact to the School Board is estimated to be $50,000.00 which excludes payments issued through schools internal accounts.
