March 15, 2012 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #18 Item Title C-18 MAC contract with School Board of Seminole County for school year 2012-2013. Issue/Rationale Medicaid Claiming is conducted as part of a consortium of which Seminole County is the group agent.  Collection and distribution of required data is most efficiently handled via the consortium.  Adoption of the MAC contract with Seminole County will enable billing for Medicaid Administrative Claiming with minimal sampling of staff and consequent data analysis of the sampling. Recommended Action Approve Continuation of MACs contract with Seminole County. Financial Impact This will enable billing for Medicaid Administrative Claiming funds which are primarily generated by staff in Exceptional Student Education and Student Services.
