Issue/Rationale

This project is listed in the 2010-2011 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.

The bid opening was held Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. The project had two (2) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.

Recommended Action

Award the construction contract to T & M Electric, Inc., the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $97,324.00.

Financial Impact

The funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
