Issue/Rationale
This project is listed in the 2009/2010 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.
The bid opening was held Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. The project had four (4) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.
Recommended Action
Award the construction contract to T & M Electric, Inc., the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $77,180.00.
Financial Impact
The low bidder meeting specifications, T & M Electric, Inc., has a total bid award of $77,180.00. These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
