Issue/Rationale
This project is listed in the 2008/2009 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.
The bid opening was held Thursday, March 3, 2009 at 2:15 p.m. The project had three (3) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.
Recommended Action
Award the construction contract to Proven 1 Fire & Security, the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $145,000.00.
Financial Impact
The low bidder meeting specifications, Proven 1 Fire & Security, has a total bid award of $145,000.00. These funds are available and are budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
