March 23, 2009 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #16 Item Title C-17 2009/10 Special Pupil Requests; 2009/10 Non-Resident Admissions guidelines Issue/Rationale To provide guidelines for Special Pupil Requests (Clay County residents requesting a school other than the zoned school) and Non-Resident Admissions (residents of other counties requesting to attend a Clay County school).  Also included are the guidelines for non-residents of Clay County to enroll their students in KHE if the parents establish a business in Keystone Heights.  This exception is intended to encourage the development of business in the small, isolated city that supports 3 public schools (KHE, KHHS, MRE). Recommended Action Approve the 2009/10 Special Pupil Requests; 2009/10 Non-Resident Admissions guidelines as submitted.
