C-32 OakLeaf Junior High School Drainage Rework in Portable/Boardwalk Area Contract Award
Issue/Rationale
This project is listed in the 2014/2015 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.
The bid opening was held Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. The project had three (3) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.
Recommended Action
Award the construction contract to Gary S. Bailey, the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $49,400.00 and the Alternate in the amount of $5,780.00 for a total bid award of $55,180.00.
Financial Impact
These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
