Issue/Rationale

Request approval of consultant services fee in the amount of $16,000 for Kim Bloor and $16,000 for Alicia Pinchot to conduct 6 workshops (one for year one Reader's andWriters for grade K-2 teachers, one for year one FCAT Reading and Writing for grade 3 - 6 teachers, two advanced workshops for grades K - 2 teachers, and two advanced workshops for grades 3 - 6 teachers) for the remainder 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 school years.

Financial Impact
None - Consultant fee will be paid from Teacher Training funds allocated during the comprehensive planning process for the 2005 - 2006 and 2006 - 2007 school years.
