May 16, 2013 - Regular Meeting Agenda Item #16 Item Title C-16 Interpreter services contract 2013-14. Issue/Rationale Clay District Schools must provide Interpreters to meet current student needs.  Students who are deaf/hard of hearing, are entitled under the Individual With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to a district provided Interpreter in order to participate successfully in their education.
