Item Title
C-16 Renew the contract between School District of Clay County and Dr. Robin Vail for July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008.

Issue/Rationale

The Department of Children and Families Contract will provide funding for consultative services for Dr. Vail to attend and give technical assistance to the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). The Multiagency Network for Severely Disturbed Students (SEDNET) will coordinate the consultative services.

The contract provides extra services to emotionally disturbed students and students at risk of serious emotional problems.

Recommended Action
The Superintendent recommends approval.

Financial Impact
There is no cost to the School District of Clay County.
