C-17 (Farrell) Florida Virtual School Program Participation Agreement
Issue/Rationale
Executed participation agreement is required to participate in the Florida Virtual School Virtual Instruction Program. The attached vendor contract provides pricing and general terms but the Director of Purchasing and School Board Attorney have submitted minor wording changes to the vendor for finalization. This contract is a five-year contract and shall be cancelable by either side on an annual basis. The Director of Purchasing needs authorization to contract for purchase when language has been finalized.
Recommended Action
Authorize Director of Purchasing to purchase once contract parameters are finalized.
Financial Impact
$3,995.00 per student who elects to enroll in the full-time Florida Virtual School VIP program. An additional fee of $655.00 for technology is added for each student who qualifies for technology assistance.
