Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board.  This change order is required to replace rotted and cracked tongue and groove sheathing on Buildings 1, 2, 3 and walkways and replace sheathing on entire Building #4 with ½” OSB.  Contractor:  Halbert Contracting Company, Inc.; Architect:  McCullar & Boatright Architects, P.A.

Approve the change order.

If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $13,465.44.  The substantial completion date is July 2, 2011.  Architect fees will increase by $807.93 as a result of this Change Order.
