C-43 Additive Change Order #2 for Keystone Heights Elementary School Lighting & Ceiling Replacement, Building 2

Issue/Rationale

Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board.  This change order is required to add light fixtures, school sign, shelving and plumbing modifications to the scope of project.  Contractor:  Gary S. Bailey, Inc.; Engineer:  KPI Engineering, Inc.  



Recommended Action

Approve the change order.



Financial Impact

If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $19,947.00.  The substantial completion date is August 3, 2011.  Engineer fees will increase by $1,196.82 as a result of this Change Order.
