Item Title
C-19 Participate in submitting the Multi-District Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resource System (FDLRS) grant with Duval County as the fiscal agent for year July 1, 2011 to August 31, 2012.
Issue/Rationale
Clay County participates with Duval and Nassau Counties in the FDLRS Crown Associate Center grant with Duval as the fiscal agent.
The FDLRS Crown Grant provides services to Exceptional Student Education including professional development activities, programs for parents, technology support, and required Child Find activities.
Recommended Action
Approve the FDLRS Grant as presented.
Financial Impact
This grant is funded with state and federal dollars. There is no cost to Clay County Schools and while budgets are not final, the grant will be approximately the same amount. FDLRS provides assistance with inservice, parent training and necessary Child Find activities.
