Band Instruments Oakleaf High School Bid #11-SCH-85 – Bid established for the purchase of band instruments for Oakleaf High School. Thirty (30) bids solicited plus listed on our web site for down load, twelve (12) bids received, three (3) no bids and two (2) bids received late. 2a. HMO BASIC, HMO PREMIUM and CDH RFP#11-BA-108 - Request for Proposals issued for purchase of HMO and CHD medical programs for employee health care insurance from qualified managed care organizations. Six (6) bids solicited (Cigna, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, AvMed and United Healthcare) plus listed on our web site for down load. Received Four (4) bids from the following vendors Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, AvMed and United Healthcare. Cigna and Humana sent letters stating they would not be submitting proposals. All RFP’s were reviewed by RFP Health Insurance Committee and (2) finalist, Aetna and United Healthcare, were recommended to the Insurance Committee for review and final presentation. 2b. HMO BASIC, HMO PREMIUM and CDH RFP#11-BA-108 - Final Plan Cost Summary with an Alternate #1 and Alternate #2. Recommended Action Award bid/RFP as follows: 1. HMO BASIC, HMO PREMIUM and CDH RFP#11-BA-108 – It is recommended Aetna’s Triple Option 7B proposal be accepted by the Board to provide the School Board of Clay County Employee Health Insurance Benefits. It is futher recommended that the Board approve implementing an On-site Clinic for Employees and their dependents in the 2010-2011 plan year. 2b. HMO BASIC, HMO PREMIUM and CDH RFP#11-BA-108 – It is recommended that the Board approve an increase in their fund contribution and no increase incurred by Employee. If Board does not agree to the first recommendation, the Insurance Committee has offered two alternative cost sharing scenarios regarding the plan cost increase with employees for approval.
