C-25 Request for purchase order to contract with Marc McCombs for Rookie Robotics Mentor Summer Bootcamp
Issue/Rationale
The DoDEA grant calls for the implementation of a robotics program and team at each of the 5 high schools included in the project. Marc McCombs, Mechanical Engineer & Regional League Organizer for Florida FIRST Robotics, trains and mentors robotics teams and is a leader in robotics. We need to develop the team mentors for robotics, and are request this purchase order so that training and on-going mentorship can be provided by Mr. McCombs.
Recommended Action
Approve request to cut purchase order as requested.
Financial Impact
No impact on general funds. Mr. McCombs will be paid out of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Grant.
