The ELLM Plus curriculum is a VPK curriculum that has been created by the University of North Florida. This curriculum serves as the basis of instruction for our VPK students in both the summer and school-year VPK programs. It is research-based and is approved by the Early Learning Coalition in the State of Florida. This item on the Board agenda will allow the District to provide curriculum training to new VPK teachers.  The target audience will be new VPK teachers. The goal is that the VPK teachers will be familiar with the curriculum and that they will be able to effectively implement the curriculum within their VPK classrooms.  The funding for this training comes from VPK funds which cannot be used for any expenditures other than those that support the VPK program.
