Item Title
C-20 Participate in submitting the multi-district Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resource System (FDLRS) grant with Duval County as the fiscal agent for year July 1, 2006 to August 31, 2007. (Revised)

Issue/Rationale

Clay County participates with Duval and Nassau counties in the FDLRS Crown Associate Center Grant with Duval as the fiscal agent.

The FDLRS Crown Grant provides service to Exceptional Education including inservice activities, programs for parents, technology support, and Child Find activities.



Recommended Action
The Superintendent recommends approval of the FDLRS Grant.

Financial Impact
The Grant brings in federal and state funds.  There is no cost to Clay County Schools.  Budgets are not final, but grants are being submitted for approximately the same amount.  FDLRS provides inservice.  Inservice personnel and inservice funds to District Schools of Clay County.
