C-54 District required 2005-2006 Casualty Safety, Sanitation and Relocatable Inspection Reports for the School District’s Educational Facilities. (Revised)
Issue/Rationale
Florida Statutes and State Board Rules require the School Board to receive and approve the Casualty Safety, Sanitation and Relocatable Inspections by June 30th of each fiscal year. The Clay School District by Law and Rule, is required to conduct an Annual Casualty Safety and Sanitation Inspection by persons proficient with applicable Rules and Standards. In addition it is also required to conduct Annual Relocatable Inspections to ensure compliance with standards set forth in State Requirements of Educational Facilities. Inspection Reports shall be available for Public Review and were performed by in-house qualified personnel.
Recommended Action
Approval of the District required 2005-2006 Casualty Safety, Sanitation and Relocatable Inspection Report.
Financial Impact
All operation deficiencies identified within the inspections will be corrected by schools. All other deficiencies will be corrected by Maintenance and Operation Department and funded by Part III, Capital Outlay Funds as listed in Section V of the Annual and Five Year Educational Facilities Plan.
