C-30 Approval of the 2009-2010 to 2011-2012 Exceptional Student Education Policies and Procedures Document (SP&P).
Issue/Rationale
Verification of School Board approval of the Special Program and Procedures Manual must be submitted by June 15, 2009 in order to participate in state funding.
This document outlines the requirements for eligibility and placement in ESE programs in Clay District Schools and requires compliance with State and Federal policies. FEFP participation requires this document. Current services cannot be provided without participation.
Recommended Action
Approve 2009-2010 to 2011-2012 ESE Policies and Procedures document as presented.
Financial Impact
FEFP funding for Special Education is necessary to provide services. There is no other funding sources to replace these funds.
