The School District of Clay County is required to provide audiological services to eligible ESE students.  This contract will again provide a contracted audiologist at the audiological testing area at WEC.

The contracted services will include:  Child Find hearing screening, annual three year audiological evaluation, Earmold impressions/fitting for hearing aids and FM systems, recommendation of type of FM system for individual students, providing audiological setting for various types of FM systems for most current students, programming various types of FM systems, on site checking of hearing aids, FM systems and Earmolds.  Provide services at any school in the district where they are needed.

These are required services.  Calibration and adjustment of our phonic ear systems must be developed in our school system since it is not available privately.  Using a contractor at the going rate of $60.00 an hour for at least two days per week will be the most economical way to get services.
