Item Title
Consider appointing a Hearing Officer to act on behalf of the full Board, if needed, for the student cases scheduled to be heard on May 21, 2015
Issue/Rationale
In order to facilitate student progression and resolution of cases already scheduled for May 21, 2015, the Superintendent is requesting the appointment of a Hearing Officer as a safeguard in the event that an emergency were to prevent the Board from having a quorum on May 21, 2015.
Recommended Action
Appoint Board Member to serve as Hearing Officer in student hearings on May 21, 2015.
