Item Title
C-15 Memorandum of Understanding between First Coast Technical College and School Board of Clay County
Issue/Rationale
This is an opportunity for postsecondary programs from First Coast Technical College to be offered to secondary students in Clay County, as well as adults. Instruction will follow the curriculum frameworks as set by the Florida Department of Education as well as NCCER and AWS (American Welding Society) welding curriculum.
Recommended Action
Approve Memorandum of Understanding as submitted.
Financial Impact
The expectation is that tuition-paying adults taking the course and industry certification will offset any cost of the program.
