Issue/Rationale

This project is listed in the 2000/2010 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $50,000.00 requires School Board approval.

The bid opening was held November 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. The project had two (2) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.

Recommended Action
Award the construction contract to T & M Electric, Inc., the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $264,724.00.

Financial Impact
The low bidder meeting specifications, T & M Electric, Inc., has a total bid award of $264,724.00. These funds are available and are budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
