C-41 Orange Park High School Smoke Corridor Building 1, Phase I Contract Award
Issue/Rationale
This project is listed in the 2014/2015 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.
The bid opening was held October 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. The project had four (4) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.
Recommended Action
Award the construction contract to C. C. Borden Construction, Inc. the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $315,903.00.
Financial Impact
These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
