Fleming Island High School band has been invited to perform on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2015 in the London New Year’s Day Parade and Festival. Participation requires the execution of a contract by the school Principal. The cost per student is $3045.00. There will be no cost to the School District. Students and their parents must sign a consent, a waiver of claims and release of liability, an indemnity agreement and provide proof of medical coverage for their child to attend. No school will be missed by the students. Date of departure will be December 27, 2014 with a return date of January 3, 2015. Approval will allow the Principal to sign an agreement which will be reviewed by the Board Attorney, and will allow other contract preparation and student/parent preparation.
