Agenda Item #29 Item Title C-28 Change Order #9 for Oakleaf School Issue/Rationale Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Once a Change Order is initiated, review/evaluation is undertaken to determine the merit and/or requirement of the Change Order. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board. Change Orders affect the scope of the project and are required to be School Board approved by State Requirements for Educational Facilities and Florida Statutes. The additive changes are detailed on the attached summary.
Recommended Action Approve the Change Order. Financial Impact If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $143,456.57. The Substantial Completion date is September 28, 2006.
