D-11 Authorize Appraisals, Surveys and Environmental Studies of specified parcels of property for School District use
Issue/Rationale
Authorization is required to acquire information pertaining to property considered for use by the School District by obtaining an appraisal, survey and environmental study. The appraisal, survey and environmental study are required per Florida Statute 1013.14 and State Requirements for Educational Facilities. School Board Policy requires authorization from the School Board to expend funds for professional services.
Recommended Action
Authorize the appraisal, survey and environmental study of certain parcels of land.
Financial Impact
The costs of the appraisals, surveys and environmental studies have not been determined at this time.
