C-28 Additive Change Order #2 for Lakeside Junior High School Building 5 Air Conditioner Replacement

Issue/Rationale

Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board. This change order is required to replace rusted decking around the curbs. Contractor: Hager Construction Company; Engineer: KPI Engineering, Inc.

Recommended Action

Approve the change order.

Financial Impact

If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $5,831.08. The substantial completion date was September 15, 2010. Engineer fees will increase by $349.86 as a result of this Change Order.
