Issue Rationale for bids to be awarded as required per FS 287, DOE 6A-1.01 and School Board Policy

a.  Construction Materials – Sheds Bid #12-CTE-03, Contract Period is October 19, 2010 through December 20, 2010 – Bid established for the purchase and delivery of materials for the construction of six sheds by Career and Technical Education Programs and lumber for Maintenance Department.  Eight (8) bids solicited plus listed on our web site for down load and four (4) bids were received.  The vendor awarded is the lowest most qualified responsive bidder meeting specifications. 

b.  Motor Oil & Transmission Fluid Bid #12-TR-87, Contract Period is October 19, 2010 through October 18, 2012 – Bid established for the purchase and delivery of motor oil & transmission fluid for county vehicles.  Eight (8) bids solicited plus listed on our web site for down load and five (5) bids were received.  The vendor awarded is the lowest most qualified responsive bidder meeting specifications.

b.  Motor Oil & Transmission Fluid Bid #12-TR-87 - Recommend award to:

b.  Motor Oil & Transmission Fluid Bid #12-TR-87:  Estimated $58,773.10
