C-39 Additive Change Order #5 for Middleburg High School Lighting and Ceiling Replacement (Phase II)
Issue/Rationale
Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to
the School Board for approval. The additive changes are for new sprinkler heads and relocation of existing ones, insulation of additional pipes in the attic, additional electrical work throughout the project, and moving multiple AC ducts and grills to match new ceiling.
Recommended Action
Approve the Change Order.
Financial Impact
If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $22,040.99. Architect fees will increase by $2,012.58.
