Agenda Item #8 Item Title C-7 2012-2013 Salary Schedule Issue/Rationale Florida Statutes 1012.22 and 1012.27 require the district school board and superintendent to adopt a salary schedule to be used as a basis for paying school district employees. Agreements with both CCEA and CESPA have been ratified by all parties. The attached document represents those agreements, along with the Administrative/Management/Supervisory/Confidential Section, Miscellaneous, and Travel to complete the Salary Schedule for 2012-2013.
Recommended Action Approve the 2012-2013 Salary Schedule as presented. Financial Impact Section I, Administrative/Management/Supervisory/Confidential: Increase of approximately $168,595.05 for salaries and benefits (as approved by the School Board on 09/20/2012). Section II, Certificated (CCEA): Increase of approximately $1.5 million with benefits (as ratified 08/21/2012). Section III, Support (CESPA): Increase of approximately $710,665.09 with benefits (as ratified 09/20/2012). Section IV, Miscellaneous Salaries: No additional financial impact for 2012-2013. Section V, Travel: Insurance Specialist, Risk Management position added for approved mileage “Not to Exceed $200 Per Month”
