October 19, 2006 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #44 Item Title C-2 (Bolla/Graham) Agreement with Clay County Utility Authority for upgrade and use of the Driving Course at Orange Park High School Issue/Rationale The asphalt driving course at Orange Park High School is going to be utilized by Bob Veres for training and qualifying school bus drivers for CDL licensure.  The course needs to be upgraded.  Clay County Utility Authority has offered to upgrade the course at their expense in exchange for being allowed to utilize the course to train their drivers for CDL licensure.  The school district benefits by having the course maintained and upgraded at no expense to the district. Recommended Action Approve the Agreement with Clay County Utility Authority as presented. Financial Impact School district saves money, exact amount undetermined.
