Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board.  This change order is to repair the concrete pad for the transformer and switchboard and replace the overload switch in the kitchen disconnect.  Contractor:  Parks Electric Service, Inc.; Engineer:  KPI Engineering, Inc.

Approve the change order.

If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $1,969.00.  The substantial completion date was August 8, 2011.  Additional 22 days in addition to the 15 days in the contract is required between substantial completion and final completion.  Final completion date is September 16, 2011.   Engineer fees will increase by $118.14 as a result of this Change Order.
