C-31 Deductive Change Order #18 for OakLeaf High School

Issue/Rationale

Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval. The deductive changes are for Guaranteed Maximum Price line item and allowance returns.

Recommended Action
Approve the Change Order.

Financial Impact
If approved, this Change Order will decrease the contract amount by $28,905.37. The Substantial Completion date is June 16, 2010. Final Completion date is September 6, 2010. Architect fees will not decrease by $1,445.27 as a result of this change order.
