C-32 Additive Change Order #3 for Clay High School Buildings 1, 2, & 3 Electric Panels Replacement
Issue/Rationale
Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval. The additive changes are for relocation of gymnasium speakers and to re-wire existing lighting circuits in wrestling room to remove fixtures from the receptacle circuit. This was required to lighten existing load on 1 pole 20 amp circuit designated as receptacles.
Recommended Action
Approve the Change Order.
Financial Impact
If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $1,464.81. The Substantial Completion date is July 29, 2010. Final Completion date is September 16, 2010. Architect fees will increase by $87.89 as a result of this change order.
