C-34 Additive Change Order #1 for Keystone Heights Elementary School Remodel Building 4

Issue/Rationale

Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board for approval. The additive changes are for unforeseen circumstances typical on renovation projects (see attached).

Recommended Action

Approve the Change Order.

Financial Impact

If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $13,215.40. The Substantial Completion date was August 11, 2015. Final Completion date was August 26, 2015. Architect fees will increase by $792.93 as a result of this change order.
