C-39 Substantial Completion of Green Cove Springs Jr. High School Renovation of Restrooms/Shower Rooms

Issue/Rationale

Establish a Substantial Completion date formally for audit purposes, and as required by the State Requirements for Education Facilities and Florida Statutes. This date is determined by the Project Manager in accordance with Project documents. Substantial Completion was achieved on August 17, 2008.

 

The project, as determined by the Project Manager and Project Architect (McCullar & Boatright Architects), has achieved Substantial Completion in accordance with the project documents. Liquidated damages are specified in the contract; therefore, a Substantial Completion date must be formally established.

 



Recommended Action

Approve Substantial Completion as submitted effective, August 17, 2008.
